1) Acceptance of these Terms
By visiting thesinkhouse.com (the “Site”), using our playlists or reels, submitting music, or contacting us about licensing, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
2) What we do (and don’t do)

• We showcase music and sound recordings for synchronization licensing.

• Audio on the Site is for preview only. No rights are granted by streaming a track.

• Any license to use music must be expressly agreed in writing (a signed or confirmed license from us).

3) Intellectual property

• All music, artwork, logos, text, and Site content are owned by us and/or our artists, writers, or partners and are protected by copyright and other IP laws.

• You may not download, copy, distribute, record, “rip,” or otherwise exploit audio from the Site without a written license.

• “The Sinkhouse” and associated marks may not be used without our permission.

4) No implied license
Listening does not grant you any rights to synchronize, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, create derivatives, or otherwise use the music. Licensing happens only through a separate written deal.
5) Music submissions & unsolicited material

• We generally review music by invitation or through our submission channel (if available).

• If you send material to us (demos, links, files, metadata), you represent you own or control it and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to review, evaluate, and internally test the submission (including sharing with our internal team and advisors).

• Submissions are non-confidential, and we have no obligation to return materials or provide feedback.

• Please do not send third-party material you don’t control.

6) Accounts; communications
If we offer accounts or login areas, you’re responsible for your credentials and for complying with these Terms. By contacting us or joining our mailing list, you consent to receive communications related to licensing and catalog updates. You can opt out at any time (see Privacy Policy).
7) Prohibited uses
You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, download, or capture audio streams;

• Infringe IP rights;

• Use bots or scraping tools without our permission;

• Interfere with Site security or operations; or

• Use the Site for unlawful purposes.

8) Third-party services
We may link to, embed, or use third-party services (e.g., hosting, analytics, playlist/streaming or file-delivery platforms, payment processors). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services.
9) No warranties; limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is.” We make no promises the Site will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates and licensors) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed USD $100.
10) Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Site, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms.
11) DMCA / copyright concerns
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please email sync@thesinkhouse.com
with: (a) your contact info; (b) identification of the work claimed infringed; (c) the specific URL; (d) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized; and (e) your signature. We may remove or disable access to disputed material at our discretion.
12) Changes to the Site or Terms
We may update the Site and these Terms at any time. The “Effective date” shows when they last changed. Continued use means you accept the changes.
13) Governing law; venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington State of The United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Spokane County/Washington State  will have exclusive jurisdiction.
